Seeking Part-time Firefighters & Engineers
The Toisnot Rural Fire Department in Elm City, NC is seeking quality individuals who have a passion for service and would like the opportunity to serve as a firefighter or firefighter/engineer. The community will benefit from having paid staffing during the hours 8:00-5:00 pm during the weekdays.
PT Firefighters
- Pay Range $15-$18 per hour
- Minimum 18 years old 21 preferred
- Certified FF, EMT-B, & EVD
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, & 800
PT Engineers
- Pay Range $15-$18 per hour
- Minimum 18 years old, 21 preferred
- Certified FF, EMT-B, & EVD
- NIMS 100, 200, 700, & 800
- Class B Drivers License
- NC Basic Pumps, Hydraulics; D/O Certification Preferred
